Restaurant Ratings & Reviews Tropical Breeze Cafe (The Flamingo)

Lousy food and service. I'd rather have a takeout sandwich. Poor atmosphere too.

Staff are very friendly! They serve way too much food! I can never complete a whole meal! Love the clam chowder and french onion soup! No complaints at all with any meal that I have ever eaten here!

Of our 4 dishes only the Philly steak sandwich was edible although really greasy Don't eat here before a long flight home or you'll regret it. Service was absolutey terrible. Our server really hated his job I believe...don't blame him. Stay away from the french onion soup also.... Actually just stay away all together

It was once my go to coffee shop. So when I was hungry for a pre-flight snack. I sat at the counter and the server was polite and efficient. The food however was not nearly as good as it used to be, not even Denny's standard.

I've eaten at the Tropical Breeze Cafe several times over the years, even back when it was called "Lindy's."

Pretty standard coffee shop fare. The service is quick, especially if you sit at the bar.

The cafe is advertised as "24 hours;" however, on my last couple of trips, I have noticed it closed late at night a couple of times. Guess they scaled back due to demand.

Anyway, if you're hungry and you're here, the Tropical Breeze Cafe will fit the bill!

Typical Vegas breakfast, staff wasn't bad for us. Sat down right away, ate and left in about a half hour.

The best crepes I have ever had.

Food was excellent - Service was "o.k." - many waitresses had massive attitudes and a major chip on there shoulders - Had BBQ Burger one day and a BLT the next -- I kid you not... on the BLT the Bacon was perfect and over inch and a half thick... at least 6 to 8 layers of bacon....extra mayo ..hmmmmmmm

This place has since been redesigned and renamed Tropical Breeze. Uncomfortable chairs and some of the worst staffing I've seen in a in-casino restaurant. Walked out before ordering anything and went to Caesars instead.

Really slow service and low quality food. The old, strong coffee tipped me off to a possible problem with the meal. It took 50 minutes to bring our breakfast order, on a not to busy morning. When it finally got there the food was cold. I got peeved about it and it almost gave a bad start to the day. Bad waiter, mostly. No Tip and NO RETURN VISIT.

Past the dinner hour, the service here can be a little slow. I didn't want to wait in line, so I went back to our room. Meanwhile my husband waited in line and ordered for me a hot fudge sundae to go. I couldn't believe how HUGE It was. It was SO good and well worth the wait. I liked it so well, I just had to recommend it to others. Give it a try. Believe me, you won't be dissapointed.

We ate at Lindy's twice during our stay. The first visit was pleasant, good food and service, the bill was $55 for 5 of us not too bad. The second was around 4am for the steak and eggs special. Service was awful. The eggs were terrible, I had one bite and wouldn't even try them again...I never thought eggs could taste so badly, the steak was edible at least. If our bill wasn't $11 I would've complained.

Love Lindy's a good variety on the menu and the food is a 9 and love the pickles.

The eggs Benny's were swimming in something that resembled hollendaise sauce. Stay away!

Very good Hot Turkey platter. Generous servings, whipped potatoes, vegetable, cranberry sauce, and delicious gravy. The pastrami is very good, also. I've never left Lindy's feeling deprived, that's for sure. IMHO, one of the better "coffee shops" on the Strip.

I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton again this week. As usual, I had a couple of meals at Lindy's. Service and food have been consistently good over the years. Some of my favorites at Lindy's: Cheeseburger, Huevos Rancheros, Taco Salad.
