The Worst Stuff in Las Vegas
Description: This list is meant to feature the crap about Las Vegas that I hate... Yes, some things just aren't that radical.
- Circus Circus - Besides the steakhouse, this place is terrible.
Not only is the theme based on clowns, the scariest thing known to man, the place is old and somewhat rundown.
Yes, I know that MGM MIRAGE makes good money here but the place is still scary. Lots of kids, clowns, old rooms = ghetto.
- Traffic/Drivers - The traffic is always getting worse but not only is there a lot of congestion and construction, the drivers are only getting more insane.
- Long Lines - There are lines for the buffet, lines for the club, lines for check-in… Lines for everything!
Now, some of these can be avoided:
1. Buffet – if you’ve been playing in the casino at all, get a line pass. They are an easy ‘comp’ to get. Sometimes you’ll get shot down because a floor guy is too lazy to fill it out. Ask someone else.
2. Clubs – don’t want to wait 3 hours for you and your 5 other guy friends to get in? Get a table with bottle service. If you do the math and figure out what everyone would pay for drinks and then realize that you won’t have to wait in line to get in or to get a drink inside, you’ll see the logic and realize this is a great way to go. Don’t let the $400 price tag on the Jack Daniels freak you out – you’re buying service and convenience.
- People Who Can't Walk Properly - Some people don’t know how to walk. Really, the rules for walking should be just like driving:
Don’t stop all of a sudden for no reason. This is not cool. Please, for the love of god, do not do this.
Walk on the right of a ‘two lane’ area.
I like to walk fast. Please make sure people have room to get around you and you’re wife/husband/kid/dog.

If you want to avoid the long taxi lines at the hotels and you have your baggage stored for the day at the hotel, simply ask the baggage claim person to take your bags to the taxi lane. They will bring it out on a cart and walk you to the next available taxi… around the line. - about 1 year ago by evil_lawn_gnome
The girls of glitter gulch. I’m still in therapy cause of them. The girls all seem to dance to 80’s music which isnt so bad except that those are the songs they started out dancing to when those songs first came out.
