    Absolutely gorgeous. I recommend it especially from October-April, before it gets beastly hot. The scenery and hikes are gorgeous.

    RE: Red Rock Canyon. I agree. Just 30 miles off the STRIP, you will see more natural beauty and unique rock formations here than any other region outside of the Grand Canyon. Even if you are NOT a hiker or you usually shy away from adventurous mountian activities, the scenery is breathtaking.
