- Club Sport, Henderson - If you’re staying in Las Vegas more than 3 days, take a ride over to the town of Henderson, about 12 miles off the strip, and visit the Green Valley Club Sport for a full day of fun, recreation, spa, swimming, exercise and INDOOR tennis. Daily, weekly and monthly rates available. This is where the locals play!
- Russ - Hi everyone. I just got back from an all day visit at the Red Rock Casino, the new BILLION dollar property south of Las Vegas. Vegas visitors have got to make it a point to visit this state-of-the-art casino and all the amenities it has to offer. Sure, it’s got those same ole slots, a typical buffet and lots of bars. But it’s not the attractions, IT’S THE DELIVERY that sets this casino apart from ALL the rest in Vegas. And men…you want to see more beautiful women in one place at one time?—then this is the place. (Don’t worry ladies, the men who work there are pretty good looking as well!) Trust me..you will like this place!

Red Rock Canyon:http://redrockcanyonlv.org/
Absolutely gorgeous. I recommend it especially from October-April, before it gets beastly hot. The scenery and hikes are gorgeous.
Also, on the OTHER side of Vegas, there’s the Great Unconformity on Frenchman Mountain:

RE: Red Rock Canyon. I agree. Just 30 miles off the STRIP, you will see more natural beauty and unique rock formations here than any other region outside of the Grand Canyon. Even if you are NOT a hiker or you usually shy away from adventurous mountian activities, the scenery is breathtaking.http://www.sunsetcities.com/redrock.html
