Best Hotel Swimming Pools
Description: What are the best pool experiences in Vegas?
- Wynn Las Vegas - Four pools total set amidst lush landscaping, Wynn’s pool offers amenities such as two towels per guest and free bottled water. There are two exclusive pools for suite guests plus an adults-only “European Bathing” pool. The best part? Hardly any children and no problems finding a lounge chair, even during the summer weekends.
- Mandalay Bay - A huge complex featuring a wave pool, sandy beach, lazy river, and topless pool (extra charge). Some evenings feature concerts from acts you’ve probably forgotten about.
- The Mirage - A truly tropical oasis, Mirage’s pool area is simply among the best in town.
- Monte Carlo - A surprise contender, Monte Carlo’s pool area is quite nice with many of the same features as Mandalay’s such as a lazy river and wave pool, but on a smaller scale. Unlike Mandalay however, the pool area by comparison is not filled with kids and one can find a lounge chair easily.
- Caesars Palace - A more unique entry as it’s neither tropical nor heavily landscaped, Caesars Palace’s pool is worth a visit for its fountains, statues, and painted pool floors unique to Las Vegas.

Mike’s list is a truly fantastic insight. - over 4 years ago by Mike E
Thanks. There are certainly other great pool areas like Bellagio’s and MGM’s, but these are the ones I have had first-hand experiences with. - over 4 years ago by Ringo
I’d add the pools at Flamingo and Hard Rock as well. - over 4 years ago by Hunter
Personally the Flamingo pool seems a little long in the tooth. Do you guys disagree? - over 4 years ago by Ringo
The Flamingo pool is showing its age, but I still think it’s one of the nicer ones on the Strip. - over 4 years ago by Karen B
We love the Mirage pool the best. This summer they changed the music to all 60’s style surfer music, Buffet and a lot of reggae. Changed the whole vibe of the place. We never had so much fun. Absolutely hate the pool at NYNY. Way too small, the sun goes behind the buildings by about 3 p.m.,that darn roller coaster and the helicopter tours going overhead every 15 minutes or so, make it impossible to have a normal conversation or even relax. MGM Mirage really missed the mark on this one. - over 4 years ago by Coorslte
The Trop pool (while showing it’s age a little) is still a great pool.I also enjoy the pool area at the MGM. Huge area, number of pools, small lazy river, great cocktail service and the adult pool is “tops optional”.
I also had a great time at the Paris pool once, even though there is nothing very special about it.

The worst, by far is the Strat. You’ll get a friggin’ nose bleed. I would hate to have the room right below it. I’m sure the ceiling tiles are wet. - over 4 years ago by JMVegas5866
I agree on the pool at the Tropicana. I havne’t been there since 1994 LOL, but I do remember the swim up blackjack table and the floats and the tubes you can rent to float around in.The same year I went to the Mirage pool… does anyone know if the pool still has the water slide?

With regards to Wynn, the Towers pool is fine, but I was disappointed with the main pool area. The “cabana corridor” that connects the pool adjacent to the casino with the large pool to the north is too congested, and intrudes on your privacy if you rent one of the cabanas in this area. One or two additional cocktail waitresses would have been nice, as well.My overall favorite is still the Mirage, although on most days it’s just too crowded. I’ve always heard this is because most of the TI guests use the Mirage pool instead of their own.

When it comes to pools – I always like to reserve a private cabana during summer month stays. The missus swims and tans, I nurse a hangover by drinking ice water, Bloody Mary’s and Mai Tai’s, sleeping in the shade, and eating the fruit plate. So, the quality of the cabana and the service is how I rate a pool.Mandalay Bay – @ up to $250 per day these are among the biggest rip-offs in town. A dingy tent with shitty lounge chairs and poor service. I can’t believe these are in such high demand.
Venetian – Not bad. Decent service, corner units offer some privacy.
Paris – Air Conditioning and a TV to watch the game. Bliss.
Green Valley Ranch – Definitely the shizz. I dig this place, even though its out of the way

Thanks for including Monte Carlo’s pool. I thought I was the only one who likes that pool area.
