  • FAO Schwarz with a maragarita - One of my top “wierd” kicks is to pick up a top shelf margarita at La Salsa in the Caesars Forum Shops, then wander over through the FAO Schwarz toy store while enjoying it. Just the “conditioned response” of having an alcoholic beverage in a toy store is something to examine in yourself, but wandering through the overwhelmingly pink Barbie section with a bit of a buzz is not to be missed.
  • Desert heat - You can look on extremes in weather in one of two ways. You can insulate and shield your body so that you never have to deal with any variations, or you can look on it as a chance to expose yourself to mother nature and see what happens in a personal way. Turn off the air conditioner for a few minutes, and drive across the open desert with all the windows down. Feel yourself get really thirsty, then quench that thirst with some cool water. Listen to your body for a change, and give it something to listen to in return. 110 degree sun will speak eloquently of many things, if you let it.
  • Drive down the strip - Vegas strip traffic is such a mess that the only reason for being on the strip is to see “the strip”. Once you look at it from that point of view, the traffic isn’t impeding your “progress”, but instead allowing you to move slow enough to really enjoy the trip. Rent a convertible, even if only for just one night, and cruise the strip. Look for others that are doing the same thing, and give them a wave. Hey look, you have something in common with other humans. Build on your new found relationship, and have fun. Resist the idea that a vehicle is for insulating you from the others.

    walking through FAO works just was well with redbull and vodka. And i didnt walk through the barbie section I was talking about hookers and slovic chicks who worked there. Spilling the booze on the floor really adds to the whole “Scene”. oh, and i did see a bum bathing outside ballys off to the side at 6 in the morning. I was disturbed. then gambled a little and hit Dennys.
