Description: Even Vegas has 'em. Places you might not have on your radar screen.
- Country Club Grill (Wynn Las Vegas) - Located in the very back of the property next to the golf course’s 18th hole, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is absolutely top notch and the ambiance is right there too.
- HIgh Roller Lounge at The Mirage - Most people are intimidated to stroll into a high roller lounge but I can say that the drinks at the high roller bar at The Mirage are the best on property – better, longer pours and fresh mixers.
- Lunch at Sensi (Bellagio) - A more recent addition to Bellagio with the Spa Tower, this restaurant is located a bit off the beaten path but offers great food and is open for lunch.
- Circus Steakhouse - No one ever believes that Circus Circus could contain a great restaurant with a great vibe but it does. This place is a throwback to a Vegas steakhouse in the late 60s – paneled wood and leather everywhere. Great food at very reasonable prices. This is a gem.
- Petrossian Bar (Bellagio) - Located right off the lobby, this bar extends along the back wall into the casino in a very quiet and private area. They even serve afternoon tea, though I personally can’t vouch for the crumpets.
- Caribe Cafe (The Mirage) - One of my favorite 24-hour joints in Vegas is the Caribe. Solid food in big portions go great with patient waitresses that don’t get mad if you fall out of the booth at 3am.

I knew the Country Club would be on this list before I even clicked on it. Makes me wonder if it will ever be discovered…Might I add Tableau at Wynn, especially for breakfast. It might be one of the most elegant restaurants in town, but still feels very comfortable and not pretentious in the least. And no, it’s not just for suite guests… they’re the only ones who ever seem to find it, though.

I’d add Voodoo Cafe and Lounge on top of the Rio. I know it is not the ‘in’ place but take a guest/date up for dinner and then stroll upstairs for music and on warm nights, cuddling at the railing overlooking the strip. I heard they have remodeled it complete with platforms for go go dancers so the atmosphere might be a little different now. But the fact that it is not at the top of everyone’s list of nightspots (and it didn’t try to be) made it a great “secret.” - over 2 years ago by CoastalBrett
The restauranst at The Hilton. Other than Benihanas, I don’t think anybody goes to them, so I would think they would be secret. - over 2 years ago by cgriff
The “Isis” Room at Luxor… The best gourmet restaruant in Las Vegas that you’ve never heard about… Even within the Luxor itself they don’t make a big deal about the place. A small elevator near the center of the casino, flanked by obsidian jackals, carries you up to a lovely bar and lobby called the “Antechamber”, where you can sit and drink while you wait for your table, while watching action on the casino floor through sound-proof, one-way mirrored windows. When your table is ready, you are escorted down a hallway of cartiyid columns and into the small dining room. Table service is impeccible and the food is to die for (don’t miss the pyramid-shaped baked alaskan for dessert!). Expensive but I love it. - over 2 years ago by cgriff
Ack! Much to my dismay I have found that Luxor has closed the “Isis” Room! Dear Webmaster, can you please move my comment to the “Hotel/Restaurant/Bar You Miss The Most” LIST? Boo-hoo!
