  • ghostbar - At the Palms on the roof of the original tower, this place has a great view and a plastic floor!
  • MIX (THEHotel) - Located on the roof at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay, MIX has a restaurant and a lounge. I didn’t love the restaurant but the lounge is great.
  • Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay - Members Only and pretty much the same view as MIX, except for being more exclusive.
  • DoubleDown Saloon - Not on the Strip but this is a classic Las Vegas dive bar.
  • Fontana Lounge (Bellagio) - One of the only places you can still get live music, you can also watch the fountains.
  • Petrossian Bar (Bellagio) - Yes, Bellagio again. A great spot to sit and people watch.

    The Hofbrauhaus, on Harmon and Paradise (kitty-corner from the Hard Rock).

    It’s an authentic replica of the original in Munich, and so’s the beer. Plus you can get some Apfelschnapps for the lady you bring with (and the stuff’s as addictive as crack for them).

    Nice for German food and the accordion/alpenhorn/drinking songs too. I try to go at least once every time I go down.

    Oooh, I should add in Red Square at Mandalay Bay. Russian vodka, and their back room is a freezer where you wear coats.
